Canoeing
It's part of who we are
While Level Six is known by some as a whitewater kayaking or SUP/lifestyle brand, canoeing is at the very heart of our roots. Our founder and CEO Stig Larsson began his paddling career as a C1 canoe slalom athlete and many of our staff are canoeing enthusiasts both in whitewater and flatwater.
As Level Six has grown we have become more and more able to acknowledge this passion with an ever-growing line of canoeing products. On top of this as a company that was founded in Canada our roots in canoeing are deep. This more than anything is why our first PFAS-free drysuit is the Loki which is a suit specifically designed for canoers and canoe trippers.

For several years, we have been expanding our diverse range of pads, packs, and harnesses, from our iconic Algonquin Pack and Bad Hass Barrel Harness to the shoulder-saving Yoke Pad.
Our newest addition to this range has been 60l and 30l barrels, which we could not be more excited about. Word on the street is that our CEO made some bets with staff that these wouldn't sell and that debt came due (had to rub that in).
Do you canoe but struggle to justify a barrel? Well, one, barrels are a lifesaver on a multi-day trip, but they also make great beverage storage at backyard BBQs, pet food containers, and wood scrap holders in your garage. The world is really your oyster with a Level Six blue barrel.
While it is one product, the Gulf Boot is an amazing product designed for shallow wading while you are unloading and loading your canoe. It can be taken off and rolled up for maximum packability but is also pliable enough to be worn kneeling or sitting without any pressure points.
This boot is perfect for short day trips, or long multi days where dry feet are of the utmost importance. They also really shine on cool overcast days when you are craving just a bit of extra warmth or have extremities that get cold easily.
